Ole Henriksen “on the go” cleanser review

Today I decided to review my current fave face-wash.

Let’s start with a little background info about the company: Ole himself is a 62 year old Danish cosmetician. If you google him…you might be sufficiently inspired to believe in his line…for 62 this guy looks amazing!
The company’s philosophy:
At OLE HENRIKSEN, we are dedicated to creating products that deliver results, enabling your skin to be the very best it can be. Our products are formulated with some of nature’s most effectual botanicals that allow every customer to experience a transformation from head to toe. We believe in being celebratory of life and maintaining a continued commitment to health and wellness. These six principles form the core of Ole’s skincare system.
I won’t bore you by listing the six principles, but certainly worth mentioning is one very important principle to me: they’re CRUELTY-FREE!!
 The cleanser is described as:
“A truly uplifting, naturally aromatic cleanser that’s loaded with orange extract and concentrated Vitamin C. “
Another awesome fact, this cleanser is free of “the big three”
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates
True to its description, the cleanser smells amazing! I find the smell very pleasant, a nice way to wake up in the morning.  The cleanser is thick, so you don’t need much (a pea size is probably all you need). I will warn it doesn’t foam up as much as some might like!  Generally I smear it over my (wet) face…brush my teeth then jump into the shower to lather and rinse. It leaves no residue, my skin feels clean but not tight.
At  $26.50 (cad) for a 207ml bottle it’s a bit expensive…but after one month, I’ve used approximately 90 mls ..so it should last you at two months and then some.
I most definitely recommend this cleanser, and really this entire line. (I’ve tried the “truth serum” vitamin c collagen booster, “truth revealed” vitamin c super cream SPF 15, “total truth” vitamin c SPF 15 eye cream, and “truth to go” vitamin c wipes.  I’m very pleased with the entire “truth” range (all scented similarly of pleasant orange!). Absolutely worth checking out…or at the very least taking a wander into your local Sephora, for a whiff!
Worth noting, I picked up this 355ml bottle a few months ago...they apparently no longer carry this size at Sephora.
