Korean Haul By Juanita

Did I made my love for Korean products already clear? This time I’ve decided to invest in a few products to add into my daily routine. 1 – From I’ts Skin Collagen serum and collagen eye cream. I’ve tried in the past a few samples of this brand and since I’m aging super fast why not to add definitely a serum and a eye cream. I used to use just a sample size tube here and there whenever I received one. Must say that the Bulgari’s serum Precieux and the Clinique’s Turnaround are really good but I don’t know why everything seems to lost effect after a couple of weeks.   2 – Baviphat AC sleeping mask for troubled skin. This is the limited mini size edition. So instead of the foil sample or small tube they made even the […]

Changing skin texture By Juanita

I’ve never liked to spend time trying all the samples you receive when buying Japanese and Korean skincare products because let’s faced: It is just way too much! And having a crazy skin I’m always afraid to away up the monster and get a huge breakout. But my opinion is changing since I discovered really good products after giving the samples a chance to make their jobs: Wow us! The last sample I tried was the TonyMoly Floria Activing Peeling Gel and I went from the shower to a online shop to get a full size of it. It clams: “Floria Flower Active Peeling Gel promotes youthfully radiant skin & blooming baby-face made by time reversing secrete potion of Floria. This soft textured gommage type peeling / exfoliating gel provides flower energy vitality to tired skin, clearing pores and complexion.” After […]

Primer Freak Part II By Juanita

Those are the primers I’ve bought recently.     On top is the Innisfree one and below the Baviphat. The Innisfree is pretty matte, dries in seconds and smells like plant (!) and the Baviphat is more natural, take about one minute to dry and smells like baby. The tricky part is that the Innisfree one won’t work for normal to dry skin because look at my hand! I didn’t moisturized before applying and after a couple of minutes this is the result! It worked well for me because this powder absorbed the sebum, especially at my nose and big forehead. I don’t know how it works otherwise… Both have the incredible power of leaving my skin without shine for up to 8 hours even after exercising. It is amazing that you can sweat without start to glow like the […]

The Highlight of My Day(s) By Laura

The amount of highlighters I own is getting a bit out of hand; I’m pretty sure when I open my makeup drawer, they can see me from space. Like most girls, I am always striving for that “youthful-glow” without appearing like I just got smacked in the face with a disco ball. So, without further ado, here are the highlighters (the good and the bad) that I have purchased over the years. 1. Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer One of the first highlighters I ever purchased was Hard Candy’s So Baked Bronzer in Tiki. I had originally wanted The Balm’s Mary Lou Manizer, but couldn’t justify spending $30 on it. I had heard that Tiki was an excellent dupe, so I went to Walmart and grabbed it. This product is really great for light to medium skin (even though it […]

Primer Freak By Juanita

Mirror mirror on the wall who has the shinier T-zone of them all? Yeap! Me. So here it goes my incessant search for the holy grail of the oily skins: THE PRIMER!!!! I was luck to be able to try brands from a couple of countries but I still didn’t find the perfect one! I’m close tho! I’ll list them with my thoughts on it.   1 – Nude Face Veil by pdc Promesses invisible pores, no thin lines and a baby skin texture in an adult. It does mattify the skin and hide really thin lines but the effect doesn’t last longer than 3 or 4 hours and isn’t enough for the summer. But great for autumn and winter.   2 – Prep+Prime Skin Smoother by MAC You can find dozens reviews on MAC products and unfortunately I have […]
