A Few Product Reviews By Amber

Here are a few things I’ve tried recently    I have learned to love Diaso products I WISH  we had a store in Toronto like the west coast!!!! and even  so far and even more so Charcoal products This is the Diaso  Japanese charcoal mask. It is to get rid of stubborn blackheads and other skin impurities   This stuff sticks to your face like putty and will pull out fine hair on your face. I Do like this though how many masks are so clingy and come off in large pieces  ? very much in the budget you can get it on ebay for around $6 or if you are around a Diaso shop around $2. Also I have the  Daiso Charcoal Cleansing Foam This is in the same price range. This stuff is Great it lathers well and leaves […]

Swap With The Beautiful Sophia (France) By Shanelle

Body Lotion, face masks and samples, Oh my!!! Here is the beautiful swap that I had with Sophia from France. She totally spoiled me, and I love everything. I think she sent me enough samples to keep me trying things for years to come lol! From the fabulous  Yves Rocher goodies to the Nyx Night in Moscow Pallet it is all FAB!   Here is most of the makeup she sent me 🙂 I am very excited to try the Sephora one time shadows. The lipstick is gorg! It is a beautiful rose and pink shade and perfectly compliments my skin tone! Bravo Sophia!!! The perfume (robin egg blue box) is amazing too, it has just the right mix of flowery and a little spice 🙂 I have never seen the BB Cream by Yves Rocher and am super […]

GlossyBox January 2013 (Sweden) By Louise

GlossyBox January 2013 (Sweden) By Louise

It’s been quite a while since I received the January GlossyBox, but life has been getting in my way, preventing me from writing this post (which is actually my very first one here, yay!). As stated in the title, this is the Swedish GlossyBox. I’ve noticed that some products that we receive here in Sweden are also in the boxes for other countries. But obviously, some will be different. I will go through the products first and then I’ll give my opinion on the box. So let’s get to it, shall we? 1. Elite Models Intesity Eye Pencil $16 / 1,1 g (fullsize) GlossyBox’s description: One of the worlds greatest model agencies, Elite Models, have created a waterproof and long lasting intensive eye pencil. It is creamy and soft which makes the application simple and precise. To protect the sensitive skin around the eye […]

Kiehl’s Family and Friends Event! By Denise

I love my Kiehl’s! They are having an event in Canada and USA this weekend only! Buy any two items, get $15 off!!! So of course, I went bright and early today 🙂    My loot!! This is what I bought from Kiehl’s. Photo-age corrector: Deep Action Exfoliating Cleanser. This exfoliator is great for those who have a thinner composition of facial skin. It sounds weird so in simpler terms, for those who have sensitive and delicate skin. I like this because it cleans my skin and I can rub out the dirt in my pores without making my face look like it went through a cheese grater. Hahaha. I then bought the Bath and Shower Liquid Body Cleanser in “Grapefruit“. I ran out of my Philosophy Birthday Cake Shower Gel so I thought that I would give this a […]

Chinese New Years Haul! By Denise

Chinese New Years Shopping!   My stash of goodies!!! Let’s start with the free stuff first hahahaha~ I got my make over at by the Benefit ladies. They gave me two of these samples after my make over!! At the cashier, they gave me a packet of lucky money envelopes 🙂   At the Metro Sephora, I saw this awesome set!!!   This is the Amazing Grace set by Philosophy. It comes with a shower gel/shampoo, a mini perfume and a lotion 🙂   And then they stuffed this in. There were samples of Benefit Porefessional, Shanghai Express lipstick, Stila’s BB cream and a Dior cream. I saw this Sephora Smoky Kohl liner in a tub. It was $3.   I got it in a taupe colour. It’s so pretty! It goes on so smooth and the pigmentation is pretty […]

My January Ipsy Bag

My January Ipsy Bag

My January Ipsy Bag Hi everyone! I’ve been so behind in posting my reviews, so it’s going to be a blitz of a day! I’m slowly cancelling my subs, and it has been a hard decision choosing which ones to keep (…. well, for some boxes more than others). Ipsy is a definite keeper for me – I’m always excited about most of the brands, and I’ve found the quality and sizes of the samples to be well worth the price paid (even with shipping to Canada). So here we go….   This month’s bag was in a navy blue colour, with a lighter blue and white star patterned lining. It was a cute bag, but I’ve received so many other ones that I prefer both from Ipsy as well as Glymm that this one was just average for me. […]
