Primer Freak Part II By Juanita

Those are the primers I’ve bought recently.     On top is the Innisfree one and below the Baviphat. The Innisfree is pretty matte, dries in seconds and smells like plant (!) and the Baviphat is more natural, take about one minute to dry and smells like baby. The tricky part is that the Innisfree one won’t work for normal to dry skin because look at my hand! I didn’t moisturized before applying and after a couple of minutes this is the result! It worked well for me because this powder absorbed the sebum, especially at my nose and big forehead. I don’t know how it works otherwise… Both have the incredible power of leaving my skin without shine for up to 8 hours even after exercising. It is amazing that you can sweat without start to glow like the […]

My May Loot Crate! By Denise

I got my Loot Crate in the mail! Loot Crate is a monthly subscription service for anyone who likes to game, to collect nifty products and to fill their rooms with toys from different games and shows! I joined the Canadian pilot program and so far it has been a fun ride! The box does not take long to get to me at all. Maximum 2 weeks as compared to 3-4 weeks for beauty boxes. Well let’s get on with the box, shall we? Like many boxes, it comes with a product card and a little summary of this month’s theme. I also got a membership card with this box. Something that is pretty unique! The first items were these crazy emotions stickers and a DIY Ironman paper figurine puzzle for me to put together. I will get right to […]

I wish I could use that… By Juanita

I wish I could use that… How many times we buy a product to end up not using even 1/3 of it? Everybody does that! And with any type of products right? When I realize that I should start to take better care of my skin and body I start with a good brand and the results, all good ones, came really fast. With that my obsession for cosmetics started. I said obsession because  I tend to sometimes  buy more than I need just because I want so bad. I can be such a brat! But what can I said? I like to shop and I have fun doing it, before, during and after. Cosmetics and what envolves is like a hobby to me. But as any hobby money is involved and in this case can be a lot, especially in my circumstances where I have to buy online most […]

Question: Why do you use so many products at once? By Juanita

Question: Why do you use so many products at once? People ask me that all the time. Yes I do use a lot at once, like once once. One on top of another! But it’s on purpose I swear! And you should try too! The thing is that here in Japan/Asia the way people do the skin care routine is different, like everywhere else, all places has their particularity. A technique called layering is very common and consists in use sometimes 5 or more steps and apply them with massages. I found this link that explain how and why do it. Check it out! http://www.skinandtonics.com/asian-skin-care-guide/#routine And an example featuring the Japanese beloved brand: HadaLabo http://www.hadalabo.com.my/en/regime-care.html   This routine doesn’t discriminate. hahahahaa Sensitive, acne-prone and oily skins can enjoy the many benefits of it.
